David O’Meara has been a successful jockey player for the past 13 years.

David is a forward-thinking horse-racing stable based in upper Helmsley on the outskirts of New York.

Since becoming a trainer in 2010, David worked so hard and earned an outstanding reputation within the horse racing community.

He has his first race at 22 years. He attended Limerick university and was in his fourth and final year of studying for a science degree when he was elected to go full-time in racing.

His favourite horse was grey Turgenev which he rode in 24races, winning three times.

David had five riders in the Grand National and completed every time.

David got married to Sarah Burke on September 6 at Home, North Yorkshire.

Sarah has been with David and supported him throughout his career and journey in jockey.

In August 2008, he quit racing to build a livery yard in tandem together with his former weighing-room colleague, Anthony Ross who quit a year earlier before he did.
