He was born in Houston, Texas, and raised in Littleton, Colorado. Stone attended the University of Colorado Boulder where he met Trey Parker and formed a close friendship and creative partnership.
Together, they created a short animated film, called “The Spirit of Christmas,” which led to the creation of South Park. The show premiered on Comedy Central in 1997 and has since become one of the longest-running and most successful American sitcoms, with a total of 26 seasons and 307 episodes.
Stone has worked on several other projects, including the film “Team America: World Police” and the Tony Award-winning musical “The Book of Mormon.”
