Many of Partrizia Cavalli’s poems have been translated by Jorie Graham, Jonathan Galassi, Kennth Koch, Mark Strand, Susan Stewart, and Rosanna Warren, among others. Patrizia Cavalli herself has also published tranlations of William Shakespeare and Moliere. The poet, Christian Wiman joins Kevin Young to read “Far from Kingdoms” and “Outside, in Fact, There Wasn’t Any Change,” by Patrizia Cavalli, translated from the Italian by Judith Baumel and also his own poem “Eating Grapes Downward.”
