Robert Whittaker is an Australian professional mixed martial artist who was born on 20th December 1990. Robert is currently 31 years old and stands at a height of 5 feet 11 inches and a weight of 185 lbs.

In UFC 213, Whittaker competed for the interim middleweight title in order to earn his first title opportunity. He won the title thereby defeating Yoel Romero and becoming the first UFC fighter from Australia or New Zealand to do it. In December 2017, Whittaker was recognized as the indisputable champion. He lost against Israel Adesanya in October 2019 and finished last in the Championship. The Championship will be contesting again at UFC 271 on February 12, 2022.

Whittaker also competes in freestyle wrestling. In 2015, he began freestyle grappling. Robert won the gold medal in the 97 kg division at the 2017 Australian National Wrestling Championships.
