Wozniacki, who was renowned for her footwork and defensive skills, won 30 WTA singles titles (including six in 2010 and six in 2011, the most by a WTA player in a year from 2008 to 2011) and two doubles titles. She defeated Magdaléna Rybáriková to claim the girls’ singles title at Wimbledon in 2006 and was named the WTA Newcomer of the Year in 2008. She has won junior Grand Slam competitions.
