Yeo began his career as a centre before making the switch to the forwards full time.

In 2013, Yeo was a member of the Penrith Panthers’ NYC team. Yeo was a part of Penrith’s 42-30 victory over the New Zealand Warriors in the 2013 National Rugby League Grand Final.

Yeo made his NRL debut for Penrith against Newcastle in round one of the 2014 NRL season.

In Penrith’s 38-12 victory against Parramatta in round 12, Yeo scored his first career try.

Yeo was selected for the NSW residents squad to face the Queensland residents team at Suncorp Stadium on July 9, 2014. In the NSW 16-24 loss, he played right-centre, or number 3, and scored a try.

Yeo had a strong debut season in the NRL, appearing in 10 games and scoring two tries.
