In the Bible and on the first day, God created day and night by dividing the light from the dark. He then ordered the heavens and the earth on the second day. He separated the land from the waters on the third day, and He also made grass, flowers, trees, fruit, and herbs. He produced the sun, moon, and stars on the fourth day.

According to Genesis 1–2 tells the story of God’s creation of the world. On the first day, God created light in the darkness. On the second, He created the sky. Dryland and plants were created on the third day.

However and according to the Priestly (P) history of the 5th or 6th-century BCE; Genesis 1:1–2:4, God on the sixth day of Creation created all the living creatures and, “in his own image,” man both “male and female.” God then blessed the couple, told them to be “fruitful and multiply,” and gave them dominion over all other living.
