Haaland scores a lot of goals, and because of his quickness, athleticism, and finishing skills, many of his fans have given him the nickname “The Terminator.” He is recognized as one of football’s top scorers.

At his neighbourhood club Bryne, Haaland started his career in 2016. He changed teams the next year and spent the next two seasons playing for Molde until signing with the Austrian team Red Bull Salzburg in January 2019. In Salzburg, he won the Austrian Cup and two Austrian Bundesliga titles.

During the 2019–20 season, Haaland made history by being the first youngster to score in five straight UEFA Champions League games. He completed his transfer to Borussia Dortmund in December 2019 for an alleged sum of around €20 million. The 2020 Golden Boy award went to Haaland as well. He had a key role in Dortmund’s DFB-Pokal victory in 2020–21, took home the Bundesliga Player of the Season honour, and finished as the Champions League’s top scorer.
