Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer was an American serial murderer and sex offender who was responsible for the deaths and dismemberments of seventeen males and male children between the years 1978 and 1991.

Jeffery’s victims included both adults and children of the same gender. Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer was also referred to as the Milwaukee Monster and the Milwaukee Cannibal during his time in prison.

On May 21, 1960, Dahmer was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Joyce Annette, a teletype machine instructor, and Lionel Herbert Dahmer, a chemistry student at Marquette University and later a research scientist.

Both Lionel and Joyce Dahmer traced their roots back to Europe; the former to Germany and the latter to Wales. There is evidence that suggests Dahmer had a rough start to life, with reports of him being neglected as a baby.

Despite his mother’s reputation for tension, greediness for attention and sympathy, and argumentativeness with her husband and neighbours, some reports say that both parents doted on little Dahmer while he was an infant and toddler.

What sickness did Jeffery Dahmer have?

Jeffrey Dahmer appears to have suffered from comorbidity of borderline personality disorder (BPD) and schizotypal personality disorder (STPD), as well as perhaps psychosis, according to sources who evaluated him.

On Hare’s Psychopathy Checklist (PCL-R), which measures psychopathy, he had a score of 22 out of 40. A score of 26 or higher is considered to indicate psychopathy. It’s possible that he had symptoms consistent with ASPD.
