Ada Ameh is a Nigerian actress best known for playing Emu Johnson in the well-liked Nigerian television series “The Johnsons” and Anita in the 1996 film “Domitilla.”

Ada Ameh made her screen debut in the country on May 15, 1974. In the television series The Johnsons, Ameh appeared with well-known Nollywood actors including Charles Inojie, Chinedu Ikedieze, and Olumide Oworu.

Ameh made his official debut in Nollywood, or Nigerian movie, in 1995. She was given the opportunity to play the part of Anita in the trustworthy and well-received 1996 film “Domitila,” which served as her acting debut.

The movie’s producer and director were Zeb Ejiro. Ameh also appeared in The Johnsons, a well-liked television show in Nigeria.

At the age of 14, Ameh gave birth to a daughter. In October 2020, she passed away. She fell ill on July 17, 2022, in Warri, and died at 48.

She struggled with her mental health before she passed away.

Ameh was born and raised in Ajegunle in Lagos State, situated in the southwest of Nigeria and largely populated by Yoruba speakers, despite being from Idoma in Benue State.
