Her writing style primarily focused on the role of women in marriage as far as independence is concerned as well as writing on social commentary with a touch of irony which looks more like her predominant figure of speech. She is best known for such works as Sense & Sensibility Pride & Prejudice and so many more. Her style has had a very large influence on the works of literature that focus primarily on critique.

Jane Austen prior to her death on the 18th of July 1817 left behind a couple of works. She was working on novels titled ‘Sanditon’ and ‘The Watsons’ as well as manuscript writings in three juvenile volumes.
