Born on May 26, 1907, in Winterset, Lowa, in the United States, John Wayne became more renowned during Hollywood’s Golden Age period and was earmarked in especially Western and War movies.

John Wayne was known to have grown up in Southern California. The circumstances that surrounded his becoming a movie star was from a bodysurfing accident during his time at the University of Southern California. He had to sideline himself and kicked start his interest in acting when he began working for Fox Film Corporation. At the time he commenced with the corporation, John Wayne mostly took up small roles, then as time went on he made a tremendous impact in the movie “The Big Trail” which made over $32.8 million.
