Deborah Anne James was an English journalist, educator, podcast host, and charity campaigner from London. She was born on October 1, 1981, in London. The United Kingdom.

She had all her formal education as expected and went on to become a Sun columnist and released a couple of books on cancer.

She was diagnosed with incurable bowel cancer in 2016 and was best known for sharing her six-year battle with a terminal illness on the popular BBC podcast You, Me and the Big C, which she began co-presenting in 2018.

Sadly after a long battle with the terminal illness Dame DeborahJames, the cancer campaigner, blogger, broadcaster, and former teacher, has died aged 40.

Before her sudden demise, she had been receiving end-of-life care for bowel cancer at home and had raised millions for cancer research.

Deborah James was given a damehood in May in recognition of her fundraising.

She was a wife and a mother of two. She has been described by her family as “amazing” and an “inspiration”.

The family announced her death in a post on her Instagram page. It said, “We are deeply saddened to announce the death of Dame Deborah James; the most amazing wife, daughter, sister, mummy,”.

She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family.

When Is Dame Deborah James Funeral?

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have paid tribute to the Dame who was a cancer campaigner, broadcaster, and former teacher.

It is speculated that her funeral will be held soon but currently the date and time for her funeral are not announced.
