Otis Taylor, a professional football player who stood 6 feet 3 inches and played wide receiver for the American football team, passed away in March 2023. He ensured that he would win a Super Bowl with the Chiefs with a 46-yard touchdown reception in Super Bowl IV, when Kansas City defeated the Minnesota Vikings.

By the end of his career, Taylor had won two AFL Championships, been named MVP of the AFL Championship, and been named an AFL All-Star. He was selected to the Pro Bowl and First Team All-Pro in 1971 and 1972, respectively.

With 57 career receiving touchdowns and 7,306 career receiving yards, he currently ranks third in franchise history, behind only Chiefs TE Travis Kelce.

According to the Professional Football Research Association, Taylor was inducted into the PRFA Hall of Very Good Class of 2006.

In March 2023, the star wide receiver passed away at the age of 80.
