In July 2019, an announcement was made that Tobias Svendsen Foss would be joining the UCI WorldTeam named Team Jumbo–Visma. The contract was a two-year contract which spanned from 2020. In August 2019 after the announcement was made, Foss became the first to win the Tour de l’Avenir for his country.
A year later, in October 2020, Tobias Svendsen Foss was one of the few who was named in the start list for the 2020 Giro d’italia. As a result of his hard work and skills in the field, Tobias Svendsen Foss won the National Championships the following year in 2021. Foss participated in the road race and time trial and once again rode the Giro and booked a spot in the top 10.
