However the plot of the movie is that, an option is presented to newly incarcerated adolescents to have their charges reduced by volunteering to care for the elderly after a governor issues an executive order ordering the arrest of undocumented immigrant minors. Once inside the nursing home, the volunteers learn that the governor and the facility’s manager have concocted a horrifyingly corrupt plan that puts both the young and the old in risk.
