Hana Zagorová was a Czech singer-songwriter, actor, and presenter born on September 6, 1946 in Petkovice, Czechoslovakia.

The Czech singer-songwriter has been making recordings since 1964, as is well known.
She is one of the most well-known vocalists from the Czech Republic. She won the national Zlat slavk music award nine times between 1977 and 1985, which ranks second in the history of the award behind Lucie Blá, who won the esk slavk, its replacement award, thirteen times.

In 1963, while being backed by Gustav Brom’s orchestra, Zagorová entered the singing competition Hledáme nové talented (Seeking New Talent).

Between 1964 and 1968, she put forth a lot of effort to graduate from Brno’s Janáek Academy of Music and Performing Arts with a degree in acting.

In 1968, Zagorová released her debut single, “Pr jsem zraná” (They Say I’m Debauched), and in the late 1960s, she began performing on television with the group Flamingo.
Hana Zagorová passed away on August 26, 2022, at the age of 75. It is unclear how she died, though.
