James Hahn, born November 2, 1981, is a professional golfer from the United States who competes on the PGA Tour. Hahn won the Northern Trust Open at Riviera Country Club in February 2015 for the first time on the PGA Tour. He defeated Paul Casey and Dustin Johnson in a sudden-death playoff after all three players tied for the lead after regulation play at six-under-par. After Casey was eliminated on the second extra hole, Hahn won with a 25-foot birdie putt on the third extra hole, edging Johnson out. The victory propelled Hahn into the top 100 in the world for the first time and qualified him for the 2015 Masters Tournament.

Hahn missed the Masters cut by one stroke after calling an unnoticed one-stroke penalty on himself. Patton Kizzire defeated Hahn in a sudden-death playoff at the Sony Open in Hawaii in January 2018. Hahn shot 62 in the final round to force a playoff with Kizzire. The playoff went to the sixth extra hole, where Hahn missed an eight-foot par putt, resulting in Kizzire’s victory. Previously, Hahn had missed two birdie putts that would have given him the tournament victory.
