Salvador Dali’s Tarot, a book-length explanation of Dali’s Tarot deck that features a full-page color plate of each card and Pollack’s commentary on the opposite page, was written by Pollack. Her book 78 Degrees of Wisdom on Tarot Reading is regularly cited by tarot readers.

The Tarot deck created by Rachel Pollack is called Shining Woman Tarot (later Shining Tribe Tarot). Along with author Neil Gaiman and illustrator Dave McKean, she also co-authored a companion book for the Vertigo Tarot Deck.

The Doom Patrol issues 64–87 (1993–1955) run by Pollack, published under the Vertigo imprint of DC Comics, are best known for continuing the 1960s comic that Grant Morrison had recently elevated to cult status. After meeting editor Tom Peyer at a party and telling him it was the only monthly comic book she wanted to write right now and sending him a sample screenplay, she took over the series in 1993.
