Clarke played for St Mirren, Chelsea, and Scotland, winning three major championships with Chelsea at the conclusion of his career.

Steve Clarke served as a coach at Newcastle United, Chelsea, West Ham United, and Liverpool after retiring as a player.

Clarke has since coached Reading and West Bromwich Albion. Clarke was named Kilmarnock manager in October 2017 after coaching at Aston Villa and guided them to a European berth with a club record points total in his only full season in charge.

In May of this year, he was named manager of Scotland’s national team.

Steve Clarke took the squad to their first major event in 23 years, the UEFA Euro 2020.
