Xaver Zembrod received assistance from TSV Ofterdingen, TSV Bodelshausen, SC Pfullendorf, VfR Mannheim, and TSG Pfeddersheim to reach the Regionalliga Süd. He played in 23 games for the Stuttgarter Kickers in this division at the time, the third-highest in German football. He also took part in each of the three games of the 1994 to 1995 DFB–Main Pokal round.
