Aleksandar Mileusni, better known by his stage name Aleks Josh, is a British singer from Stevenage, England, who has a mixed British and Serbian background. He has a Serbian father.
At the age of seventeen, he took part in the second of four The Voice audition events that were broadcast on BBC One. The song “I’m Yours” by Jason Mraz which he sang at his audition was shown on March 31, 2012. Two coaches, Danny O’Donoghue and Will.i.am, turned their seats while judges Tom Jones and Jessie J stayed silent. From March to May 2012, he took part in The Voice UK’s first season as Aleks Josh. In order to test out his own identity, he returned to Britain’s Got Talent in 2018.
A music video for the song “Cruise” and an EP containing the track “Cruise” were all published by Aleks after the performance. He also provided backing for The Wanted and Olly Murs in the summer of 2012.
He was approached in 2014 by Talpa Media and the 8 Ball Music record label with an offer to join a global pop-rock band with a base in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Later, the band was joined by Sony Music Netherlands.
