After an illustrious career at Perspectives Charter High School in Illinois, where Davis actually spent a short time as an undersized guard before experiencing a massive growth spurt, he signed with the Kentucky Wildcats as one of the top recruits in the nation. Under John Calipari, AD’s notoriety as well as his distinctive one eyebrow both started to soar.
Davis was a college basketball player for the University of Kentucky for one season, during which time he was named to the first team All-American and named the consensus national player of the year.
