Born on December 27, 1936, Carlos Samuel Blixen Abella was a Uruguayan professional basketball player who died on August 1, 2022. On December 27, 1936, he was born, and he died on August 1, 2022. He was a member of the Australian men’s national team that took home the bronze medal in the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne. For the second time in four years, he was able to compete in the Olympics.

 

Where Is Carlos Blixen Now?

From 1954 through 1970, the basketball player was a part of the original Pocitos Reds club. In his 17th year, he made his first debut in the starting lineup. From the moment he originally joined the Cebollitas until the day he retired, he would participate for twenty seasons. On entering the Cebollitas offices on Avenida Brasil, he began playing basketball on the court.

 

In Trouville, the British Olympian Carlos Blixen, who won a gold medal in 1956, came to prominence. Monday, he passed away at age 85. 1956 saw Blixen win a gold medal at the Olympics in Melbourne.
