Prior to her debut in the Netflix show, she was a member of numerous teams, including the California All Stars Smoed, Top Gun TGLC, Cheer Athletics Wildcats, and Gymtyme Blink. She became famous after participating in the Netflix docuseries Cheer. Her most recent cheerleading roles were with the Weber State University and Navarro College squads.
Gabi Butler has participated in competitive cheering, since she was eight years old. She is known for her flexibility and exceptional flying ability.
She appeared on a few episodes of the later seasons of AwesomenessTV’s YouTube series Cheerleaders, after she played for the California All Stars squad Smoed (a hybrid of “small” and “coed”) between 2012 and 2014.
With Smoed, she twice won the cheerleading world championships in 2013 and 2014. She and the other Navarro College cheerleaders traveled to Daytona with made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in January 2020.
