Jerry Blavat was born on July 3, 1940. Jerry is also known as “The Geator with The Heator”. He was is a well-known American disc jockey. Jerry was popularly known for promoting oldies’ music on the radio in the Philadelphia environs. Jerry was born in South Philadelphia. He was born to a Jewish father and an Italian mother.
In the year 1953, was when Jerry debuted on the original Bandstand on WFIL-TV. Jerry made his debut on the show with Bob Horn and Lee Stewart. Fast forward to 1956, David was the manager of a national tour for Danny and the Juniors, and David proceeded to work as Don Rickles’ valet from 1958-59. David emerged in rhe radio space in 1960. Later in the year 1963, David’s show was then syndicated in Camden, Atlantic City, Trenton, Pottstown, Wilmington and Allentown.
During the 1960s, Jerry partnered in the Lost Nite and Crimson record labels. He worked along with Jared Weinstein and Collectables Records’ which was founded Jerry Greene.
