Megan Linnea Glaros is a meteorologist from the United States. She formerly worked as a weekend meteorologist/weekday entertainment reporter for New York City’s WCBS-TV and as a weekday morning meteorologist for Chicago’s WBBM-TV. Glaros spent his formative years in Dyer, Indiana, roughly 35 miles southeast of Chicago, Illinois.
Glaros has been dancing since she was six years old. She studied at Chicago’s Lou Conte Dance Studio, as well as the Ruth Page Center for the Arts and The Dance Gallery in Munster, Indiana. She also worked as a professional model in high school and college. Glaros studied journalism and atmospheric sciences at Texas Christian University before moving to Indiana University.
Before landing her first position in television, Glaros briefly worked as an NFL cheerleader for the Indianapolis Colts in 2002. Glaros’ career started in Parkersburg, West Virginia. She immediately relocated to Baltimore, Maryland, where she started working for Sinclair Broadcast Group as a forecaster, covering up to five different areas each evening. Glaros began working as a daily and weekend entertainment correspondent for WCBS-TV in May 2008.
As of August 30, 2010, Glaros took over as the 4:30, 5, and 11 a.m. meteorologist for the CBS 2 Chicago Morning News. As part of her duties for the network, she has also been assigned to cover weather-related stories for CBS This Morning and the CBS Evening News, including those during hurricanes Florence and Dorian.
