Nancy O’Dell (born Nancy Evelyn Humphries in 1966) is a television host and entertainment journalist from the United States. From January 3, 2011, to August 2, 2019, she was the co-anchor of the syndicated entertainment news show Entertainment Tonight.

O’Dell was born in Sumter, South Carolina in 1966 and relocated to Myrtle Beach as a baby. She has one sibling. She earned a summa cum laude bachelor’s degree in marketing from Clemson University in 1990 after graduating from the now-defunct Coastal Academy High School in 1984.

O’Dell was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma at Clemson. She won Miss South Carolina in 1987 and went on to represent the state at Miss America in 1988, where she earned a preliminary swimsuit award.

In 1990, she finished first runner-up in the Miss South Carolina USA pageant to Gina Tolleson, who went on to win Miss USA 1990 before becoming Miss World that year.

Where Is Nancy O’Dell Working Now?

Nancy O’Dell announced her comeback to television in 2020 as a special contributor for People magazine’s planned entertainment news show, “People (the TV Show!).” The show went off air after April 2022. No current update has been released.
