American serial killer Nicholas “Nikko” Allen Jenkins was found guilty of killing four people in Omaha, Nebraska, in August 2013.

The murders happened less than a month after he was released from jail after spending 10 and a half of the 18 years he was sentenced to for a carjacking he did when he was 15 and for attacks he committed while inside.

Nikko said that the ancient serpent god Apophis had ordered him to carry out the crimes.

In May 2017, he was given a death sentence after being found guilty of the murders and competent to stand trial.

Jorge Cajiga-Ruiz, Curtis Bradford, Juan Uribe-Pena, and Andrea Kruger were all killed by Nikko in Omaha over the course of ten days in 2013, barely three weeks after his release from a Nebraska jail.

Nikko has long maintained that he is schizophrenic and that his deceased father, who did not raise him, had a schizophrenia diagnosis. Every time he was questioned about the specifics of how he murdered the four Omahans, his claims that he was in schizophrenia came under investigation.Nikko would then frequently speak in gibberish and assert that he was channeling a serpent god when confronted with the gory specifics of the murders.

A three-judge panel gave him a death sentence in May 2017 and also condemned him to 450 years in prison for using firearms in the murders.

One of the 12 prisoners on Nebraska’s execution row is named Nikko.
