Octomom is the moniker bestowed upon American media personality Natalie Denise Suleman after she became internationally renowned in January 2009 as the mother of the first set of surviving octuplets.

Suleman’s birth date is July 11, 1975, and her full name at birth was Nadyaa Denise Doud-Suleman. The media has dubbed her “Octomom.”

Their high-order multiple births have sparked debate about the ethics of assisted reproductive technology, and the California Medical Board is currently investigating the fertility specialist who was involved.

Suleman’s octuplets, as well as her other six children, were conceived through in vitro fertilization (IVF). At first, she denied ever having used welfare, but in April 2012, she admitted on the Today show on NBC that she had been receiving government aid.

According to what she shared with The New York Times in December 2018, the former psychiatric technician currently resides in California with her brood in a townhouse that has three bedrooms.

When asked about it at the time, Suleman revealed that her youngest children take turns sleeping on the couch.
