Patra as she is professionally referred to began her career as a female Dancehall deejay in the latter part of the year 1980. At that time she was known to have used the stage name called Lady Patra. Patra was known to have made a first impression when she made an appearance on the US charts as a featured singer on a song titled “Family Affair”. For that particular song, it was known to have hit number 84 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the year 1994.
Patra was known to have released her first single as a musician in the year 1993 with the title “Think About It”. Her first debut album was titled “Queen of the Pack”.
