The Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saint (FLDS) is believed to be a polygamous denomination where the doctrine of practising polygamy is highly acknowledged.
Warren Jeffs who happens to be the leader of the church and the one responsible for the polygamy initiation was recently convicted on two charges of rape as a co-conspirator.
As a result of this, he was sentenced to ten years in Utah State Prison.
The conviction, however, was reversed due to a faulty jury instruction, according to sources.
It is known that he married his father’s wives after he passed away who go by the names; Rebecca Wall and Noami Jessop.
He was the only person as president of the church to conduct and assign wives to their husbands.
Where is Warren Jeffs now?
Warren Jeffs who is aged 66 has been incarcerated following being convicted of two felony charges of sexual assault and in addition receiving twenty years of his sentence.
His release has been campaigned for where he has called for an action to be released.
