Early Thursday, an Amber Alert was issued for a 13-year-old girl last seen near Honey Grove. Kionna Braxton, according to authorities, may be in grave or immediate danger.
She was last seen in the 1000 block of Elm Street in Honey Grove at 1:40 p.m. Tuesday.
Kionna is a black woman with braided hair and brown eyes.
She has a height of 4-11 and a weight of 200 pounds. She was last spotted wearing a cheerleading uniform with orange and white accents and colourful Crocs.
The Honey Grove Police Department can be reached at 903-378-2222 if anyone has information about the Amber Alert. About 80 miles northeast of Dallas is Honey Grove.
Kayla Armstrong, the woman who killed her, was sentenced on Friday morning.
Braxton was stabbed 43 times and shot three times, according to the commonwealth.
They also said that Armstrong took out $2,000 for a hit and that when she wanted to discuss the hit, she used a different PIN number.
“She never accepts responsibility for what happens,” lawyers stated.
