Bruce MacVittie, who starred in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, The Sopranos, and Million Dollar Baby, has died. He was 65. His wife Carol Ochs told The New York Times that the actor died Saturday in a Manhattan hospital. The cause of death was unknown at the time.

A representative for MacVittie did not immediately respond to a request for comment from PEOPLE.

MacVittie has appeared in guest roles on shows such as Miami Vice, Sex and the City, Oz, As the World Turns, Blue Bloods, Chicago Med, The Deuce, and several Law & Order franchise shows.

In addition, he appeared in films such as Stonewall, Hannibal, and Brooklyn’s Finest.

Who did Bruce MacVittie play in The Sopranos?

According to The Hollywood Reporter, MacVittie also appeared as a guest star on numerous television shows, including a recurring role as Danny Scalercio, the juror responsible for Uncle Junior’s acquittal, during the fourth season of “The Sopranos” in 2002.
