Phillips was captured in Dumont, in 2021.

He was condemned in November 2021 to four months in jail by a jury in Park Region, Fairplay. There were eight counts of charges against him, including first-degree murder after pondering and first-degree murder including crime, seizing and theft.

CBS News says that Schnee and Oberholtzer were killed while catching a ride in the Culmination region when they vanished on Jan. 6, 1982.
