Following her resignation, four others have resigned from their position, supporting Munira Mirza’s stand on leaving.

Who Is Elena Narozanski?

Elena Narozanski, a special advisor to the prime minister on women and equalities, the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, and extremism. According to Paul Goodman, editor of Conservative Home, she has also submitted her resignation.

According to Powerbase, she is a Cambridge graduate who worked at the University Union as an Entertainments Officer. She was formerly a special adviser to Michael Gove, the former Secretary of State for Education, from 2010 to February 2011.

She began working as a speechwriter for the Department of Education’s communications section in June 2011. She was also listed as an associate with Public First in 2019.

Additionally, she was one of the new hires to run Public First’s new ‘Human Capital’ practice alongside Jennifer Powers and Eleanor Shawcross.
