Baseball is a hugely popular sport at Georgia Tech, where they have one of the best baseball teams in the NCAA. Georgia Tech’s baseball teams are known for their powerful offences and stout defences. Baseball games were played in Brisbine Park before Tech had its own field.

Under his leadership, Georgia Tech competed in NCAA regional competition for 20 years and qualified for just three College World Series in 1994, 2002, and 2006.
