Hu Jintao was born on December 21, 1942, he is a Chinese politician who held office as the People’s Republic of China (PRC) president from 2003 to 2013, he was also the general secretary of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) from 2002 to 2012, and chairman of the Central Military Commission (CMC) from 2004 to 2012. However, from 1992 through 2012, he served on China’s de facto top decision-making body, as the CCP Politburo Standing Committee. He was also China’s supreme leader, which he served from 2002 to 2012.

During his tenure in office, Hu was conservative with political changes and reinstated state control in some economic areas, which had been liberalized by the previous administration. Hu co-led China’s economic growth and development, which was for almost 10 years with his fellow colleague named Wen Jiabao, it however solidified China’s position as a significant global force. He worked to increase socioeconomic equality domestically through the Scientific Outlook on Development, which his aim was to create a “Harmonious Socialist Society” that was affluent and devoid of social unrest.
