People found her 26-year-old husband dead on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. The Department of the Medical Examiner in Honolulu confirmed that the incident was suicide.

Reportedly, Hudson died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot to his head. As for the motive, it remains unknown.

Carlie and her husband had been living in Wahiawa, Hawaii, since August 2019. Hudson previously served in the U.S. Army as a member of the Schofield Barracks in Oahu. In March, the Army had promoted him.

On 15 January 2022, she underwent tumor removal surgery in one of her breasts. During the medical procedure, her husband provided great support, for which she expressed her thankfulness on Instagram.

The couple met through Facebook in 2017. Reportedly, Carlie asked her friend if Madsen was a keeper in the comments. As for Madsen, he confirmed it. After that, in June, she posted a picture of them together, captioning miss you so much. About five months later, he proposed to her on top of Pike’s Peak in Colorado.

Then, they married a year later. After that, Carlie’s husband went to serve in the Army. In January 2019, the couple was finally together as Hudson returned.

At Cheyenne Mountain state park in Colorado, the two had their official wedding full of thunderstorms in June. Later in August, they moved to Hawaii. Carlie’s husband had another deployment in May 2020.

In March 2021, they discovered Carlie’s difficulty getting pregnant naturally and the requirement for her to undergo IVF treatment about two or more times. They posted a few of their photos together on social media that year. Their November picture became their final one before separation.
