K.J. Hamler, whose full name is KJ Hamler Jr., was born on July 8, 1999, in Pontiac, Michigan. He played college football for the Penn State Nittany Lions as a wide receiver and return specialist.
Hamler gained recognition for his speed, agility, and versatility on the field. During his sophomore season at Penn State in 2019, he recorded 56 receptions for 904 yards and eight touchdowns. His ability to make explosive plays both as a receiver and returner made him a standout player in college football.
