Elijah Blue Allman’s ex-wife Marie Angela King has accused her former mother-in-law Cher of employing four men to forcefully remove her son, from his New York hotel on the night of his wedding anniversary last year.

Newly revealed court documents obtained by Variety were filed on December 4 in the Los Angeles Superior Court. They were recently made public as part of the couple’s ongoing divorce case. Allman filed for divorce from King in November 2021.

King claims in a signed court declaration that she and Allman had committed to try and make their marriage work after Cher had requested King leave their family home. Allman and King allegedly spent 12 days alone together in New York leading up to their anniversary, on November 30, the day of the reported kidnapping.

“Four people came to our hotel room and removed [Allman] from our room,” King claims in the filing, adding that she was “told by one of the four men who took him that they were hired by [Allman’s] mother.”

“I am currently unaware of my husband’s wellbeing or whereabouts,” King wrote in December. “I am very concerned and worried about him. Since August 2022, I have been told that I am not allowed to see or speak to [Allman] who is currently in lockdown at a treatment facility that is undisclosed to me. I am also told [Allman] has no access to his phone.”

She ended the declaration with the following plea: “I understand his family’s efforts to make sure he is well, and I want what is best for my husband.”

King became a musician against all odds with her siblings. They later formed the German pop group KING and signed a record deal with EMI Germany. Although the band skyrocketed to fame, King eventually went solo to create her own brand of music.

During a 2021 virtual interview on Dystopian Tonight with John Poveromo, King opened up about her childhood. She talked about growing up in the Children of God cult in India. Inside the cult, children were only allowed to watch a certain number of films deemed to be okay by the rules and regulations of the cult.

Outside music was completely forbidden. King and her siblings were expected to perform, as they knew how to sing. She said she sometimes managed to sneak out and listen to some of the most popular music of the time. That is how she became familiar with Michael Jackson’s songs, which formed her very first influences in music.

She later moved with her parents to Ukraine and was exposed to more of the world. eventually, she encouraged her siblings to leave the COG and work for themselves. Her parents disapproved of their leaving the cult and forming their own band but they signed their record deal anyway.

She was still in the band when she met her husband, Allman on a blind date in Germany. After being engaged for a week, they eloped on December 1, 2013. They got married in an intimate ceremony with their closest friends at their Beverly Hills home. Cher did not give her blessing for the union and as a result, she wasn’t invited for the wedding ceremony.

She now goes by Queeny King and is making moves in the industry.
