On November 28, 1961, Alexander Martin Clunes, an English actor, comedian, filmmaker, and television presenter, was born. He is most known for his appearances as Martin Ellingham and Gary Strang in the ITV comedy-drama series Doc Martin and Men Behaving Badly, respectively.

Clunes has provided the voiceover for a number of ITV documentaries, the first of which was Islands of Britain, which was broadcast in 2009.

He’s since presented a number of animal-themed flicks. He also played Kipper the Dog in the animated series Kipper.

Clunes was honoured in the 2015 Birthday Honours as an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for his achievements in drama, charity, and the Dorset community.

Philippa is a 57-year-old producer and executive. She is most known for producing Gwyneth Paltrow’s 1998 picture Sliding Doors, as well as her work on her husband’s TV programs Doc Martin and Manhunt.

In 1997, Philippa Braithwaite married Martin Clunes. Following the proposal, the couple married in an intimate ceremony at London’s Savoy hotel in 1997, followed by an after-party.
