A nearby Mississippi meteorologist became close to home and implored in real time subsequent to estimating a twister planned to head through the town of Amory. Matt Laubhan was covering the direction and seeing it draw near to the populated town. He was giving a report on what’s in store. He the stopped and appealed to god to guard its occupants. “Gracious man, north side of Amory, this is coming in,” he said. “Gracious man. Dear Jesus, kindly assistance them.”

He works close by his better half, Emily Leonard, who is the night anchor at WTVA. Matt and Emily have two kids.

Laubhan is an Emmy Grant winning meteorologist and Kansas local. He got close to home and could scarcely view at the camera as he watched the radar to follow the tempest, which he called “a perilous twister.” He separated as he watched an expansive cyclone collide with an unassuming community continuously late Friday.

“‘Here is the thing about this, you all trust me to an extreme,’ he told watchers during his report. “‘I let you know where it will go and some of you all are like, ‘That is where it will go.’ The truth of this, this could be heading in a different path. In this way, Amory, we should be in our protected spot,” he added.

Amory is a town with a populace of a little more than 6,000. It is found 100 miles west of Birmingham.
