How Did Sam Mills Die? Cause Of Death Of Pro Hall of Famer

Sam Mills died on April 18, 2005, due to cancer complications. He got diagnosed with intestinal cancer in August 2003 and was told he only has a few months to live. He underwent radiation and chemotherapy and continued with his coaching career.

The Pro Hall of Famer was coaching Carolina Panthers as the defensive assistant and Linebackers coach and was an inspirational force in their post-season run to Super Bowl XXXVIII.
