Mino Raiola Early life

Raiola was born in Nocera Inferiore, Salerno, in southern Italy. A year later he moved to the Dutch city Haarlem with his parents. His father opened a successful restaurant in the Netherlands, he spent almost all his younger years working there as a waiter.

At the time of completing his basic education, obtaining his diploma and enrolling on the faculty of law at the university, he started playing football for the youth team of HFC Haarlem but stopped at age 18 to become the head of the team.

After several years of playing and later becoming the head of the team, Raiola remained in football but this time as an agent. He began working for a Sports promotion sports agency and assisted in the transfer of high profile players from Dutch to the Italian club including Bryne Roy ( Ajax 1992 to Foggia), Marciano Vink ( in 1993 to Genoa), Micheal Krek ( in 1994 to Padua). After serving the agency for some years he decided to start up his own business.

His first biggest independent transfer was Pavel Nedved signing from Sparta Prague for Lazio following the impressive performance at UEFA Euro 1996, where Nedved the Czech Republican reached the finals.

He helps in the transfer of several high profile players who performed very well after their transfer.
