He is well known for co-hosting The Spot and Men’s Corner on Ebonylife Television as well as for hosting the reality series Big Brother Naija and the venerable Rubbin’ Minds chat show on Channels TV.

He represents Budweiser Nigeria, Samsung Nigeria, PorkMoney, and 2Sure Nigeria as an ambassador.

For his work on Rubbin’ Minds, Obi-Uchendu has been nominated for numerous awards and has won the Outstanding TV Presenter of the Year award from the Nigerian Broadcasters Merit Awards.

He is the third of four children—there is an older sister, an older brother, and a younger brother—born to a banking father and a nursing mother in Benin City, Edo State.

He completed his nursery and primary education in the city of Benin in central Nigeria, miraculously clearing the secondary school entrance exam as early as Primary 4.

After completing his studies at the Nigerian Law School Bwari in Abuja in 2005, he went back to school, and in December 2010 he received his Master of Laws degree from the Washington College of Law of the American University in Washington, DC, with specializations in intellectual property and communications law from the Law and Government program.
