He was also a founding member of Boyz N Bucks, he is the proprietor of Cotton Club Records and the composer of hit songs including Nafukwa and Boss Zonke.
Rikhado Makhado was raised in the KwaMashu township in Natal, close to Durban. His childhood acquaintances describe him as an imaginative person, who even as a child, was entrepreneurial, friendly, and artistically inclined.
Makhado’s music career started at a Bongani Fassie recording session. By Fassie’s side, Makhado found the motivation to compose his own music. At the same time, he also featured Da L.E.S on his debut track, “Barbershop.”
Rikhado‘s first studio album, Family Values, was released on April 3, 2015, and it had favourable reviews from music reviewers. The Guests include Cassper Nyovest, Black Motion, Okmalumkoolkat, and Zano.
