(Roselin Benjamin Haiti) Mikaben was born in the year 1981. Mikaben is a multilingual man (Mikaben can sing in Creole, French, English and Spanish). Mikaben developed an early interest in music. At the age of 15, he presented his first composition to the public; at the age of 16, Mikaben left for Canada to further his education, but he continues to devote himself to his art. His career began at the tail end of the 1990s when he took part in a song competition held in Montreal for Christmas by the Haitian television network Telemax. He took on the role of lead singer for Krezi Mizik, the kompa group he created in 2005. In Port-au-Prince, Mikaben worked in the production of a number of theCarimigroup.1 albums. He was raised by music and is the son of musician Lionel Benjamin.
In 2016, Mikaben signed a licensing and distribution contract with the international music company Warner Music France for its music titled Ti pam nan, as well as for the distribution of four complete albums, accompanied by the director of the Haitian copyright office, Emmalie Prophet, the artist J. Perry, and his lawyer Me Georges Andy René.
