According to NBC News, Rep. Lee Zeldin, R-New York, won the Republican primary for governor of New York on Tuesday.
Zeldin defeated three opponents, including Andrew Giuliani, the son of former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani.
The majority of the New York Republican establishment-backed Zeldin, although Giuliani received support from some conservative influencers and Doug Mastriano, the party’s nominee for governor of Pennsylvania.
Zeldin has a 20-point advantage over Giuliani as of 11:10 p.m. E.T.
