Steve Braddock became the club’s groundsman after a chance meeting with the club’s manager, George Graham. Since joining the football team as a member in 1987, he has risen through the ranks to become the club’s chief groundsman.
Before Arsenal relocated to the Emirates Stadium, he was in charge of field maintenance at Highbury. Moreover, Braddock oversaw the eleven fields the team used for practice in London Colney.

In recognition of his dedication and many Premier League Pitch of the Season awards, Steve Braddock was inducted into the Grounds Management Association Hall of Fame.
